Honest Hours is built on friendship, shared influences, and a love for timeless songwriting. David, Matt, and Troy met at their barbershop and quickly bonded over a similar creative instinct and a deep appreciation for artists spanning the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s — from U2 and Coldplay to Keane, The Midnight, and Hotel Pools.

Troy brought a vault of hooks and riffs, Matt shaped them with structure and drums, and David layered in melody and lyrics. Within 48 hours, the foundation for their debut EP Shadows was born.

While finishing Shadows, the band refined their creative process and built an expanding catalog of ideas they call “Fort Knox.” Honest Hours will release their debut EP Shadows in Spring 2026, with more music already on the way.
